Meet Our Team
I started with Cash&Carry Smart Foodservice in 1998 at the Vancouver location, after over 20 years in the restaurant business as an owner and manager in Portland, Vancouver and Hawaii. I also worked at our Clackamas location for two years, before transferring back to Vancouver to build my career in the community that I live in. Helping our local businesses thrive and grow is what we are all about, and I enjoy the many strong relationships that I’ve built over my two decades with Smart Foodservice.
Nick LangAssistant Manager
I started with Cash&Carry Smart Foodservice in 2006 as a Sales Associate, and in 2011 I was promoted to Assistant Manager. Prior to Smart Foodservice, I worked in the maintenance field. Over the past 12 years I have ordered and worked in all departments at Smart Foodservice. I look forward to using my expertise in all areas to help our customers grow their business. I enjoy spending my spare time with my wife and our four children.
Matt McNairyAssistant Manager
I started with Cash&Carry Smart Foodservice in 2008, as a sales associate at our Vancouver location. I worked night shift from 2009-2013 in all departments and was the freezer lead. In 2013 I was promoted to Perishable Specialist and was able to apply what I learned from nights and company meetings to help customers find what they needed or a solution to their problem. In 2017 I was promoted to Assistant Manager. I have established great relationships with some of our business customers. I look forward to expanding those relationships and creating new ones by providing great customer service.
David RobisonPerishable Specialist
I started my career with Cash&Carry Smart Foodservice in 2015 as a Sales Associate working on the night shift. I previously worked as a meat cutter, and enjoy helping customers find exactly what they need. I was promoted to Perishable Specialist in 2019, and the best part of my day is sharing my knowledge with customers to help them grow their business!
John MeighanDistrict Manager
I joined the Cash&Carry Smart Foodservice team in 1995 at our store in Gresham, Oregon. I had the pleasure of helping customers as the Store Manager for 10 years in the greater Portland area before moving into the Smart Foodservice Corporate office in 2006. In the office I worked in the Perishable Department where I assisted the stores with all of their needs in meat, dairy, produce and frozen foods. As the Director of Perishables I was responsible for guiding our perishable program to best meet the needs of our customers. In 2017 I returned to my operational roots as a District Manager. I am looking forward to using my decades of Smart Foodservice experience to help support the stores, so we can provide you the best shopping experience on your next visit.
