I started with Cash&Carry Smart Foodservice in November of 1989. I have 40 years of retail grocery experience. I enjoy forming strong customer relationships, and exceeding the business needs of my customers. I’m excited to continue growing with Smart Foodservice, and helping you to grow your business by supplying all that your business needs. I started with Cash&Carry Smart Foodservice in May of 2013. I have over 18 year’s restaurant experience, including 5 years as a catering manager. I enjoy helping the customer find products that will best fit their needs. I believe that customer service is our number one priority in being a successful company. I started my Cash&Carry Smart Foodservice career in March 2017 at the South Salem, OR store. Prior to that I was working in retail as a meat cutter for 2 years and before that I worked in the hospitality industry for 14 years. I have experience in bar management, bartending, and servering. John MeighanDistrict Manager
I joined the Cash&Carry Smart Foodservice team in 1995 at our store in Gresham, Oregon. I had the pleasure of helping customers as the Store Manager for 10 years in the greater Portland area before moving into the Smart Foodservice Corporate office in 2006. In the office I worked in the Perishable Department where I assisted the stores with all of their needs in meat, dairy, produce and frozen foods. As the Director of Perishables I was responsible for guiding our perishable program to best meet the needs of our customers. In 2017 I returned to my operational roots as a District Manager. I am looking forward to using my decades of Smart Foodservice experience to help support the stores, so we can provide you the best shopping experience on your next visit.
