I started at Cash&Carry Smart Foodservice in 2013 at our North Portland store as a Sales Associate on the night crew. In 2016 I was promoted to Perishable Specialist and focused on helping customers in the coolers. In 2017 I was promoted to Assistant Manager at our Northwest Portland store. In 2019 I was promoted to Store Manager of SE Portland. I enjoy working with our customers and helping them to find the right products to meet their business needs. I started working for Cash&Carry Smart Foodservice in November of 1997 and was promoted to Assistant Manager in the spring of 1998 at our Northwest Portland location. I have worked at 4 different locations and with several talented managers. This has allowed me to develop lasting relationships with the customers as well as the people I work with.

I started working for Cash&Casrry Smart Foodservice in Southeast Portland on night crew in February of 2018. I was promoted to Assistant Manager in November of 2018. I enjoy interacting with customers, learning about their business, and how we can meet their needs. I am excited for the opportunity to grow with Smart Foodservice and help our customers grow their businesses as well.

I have been with Cash&Carry Smart Foodservice since 2005 and I’m currently the Perishable Specialist at our Southeast Portland location. I enjoy working with our customers and being a Perishable Specialist, it gives me the opportunity to work hands on with our customers.

 

John Meighan

District Manager

I joined the Cash&Carry Smart Foodservice team in 1995 at our store in Gresham, Oregon. I had the pleasure of helping customers as the Store Manager for 10 years in the greater Portland area before moving into the Smart Foodservice Corporate office in 2006. In the office I worked in the Perishable Department where I assisted the stores with all of their needs in meat, dairy, produce and frozen foods. As the Director of Perishables I was responsible for guiding our perishable program to best meet the needs of our customers. In 2017 I returned to my operational roots as a District Manager. I am looking forward to using my decades of Smart Foodservice experience to help support the stores, so we can provide you the best shopping experience on your next visit.
