Meet Our Team
I started with Cash&Carry Smart Foodservice in May of 2011. I have 6 years restaurant management experience. I also installed hood suppression systems in a lot of the local restaurants so when I started with Smart foodservice I already had many solid relationships with the customers. I enjoy helping customers come up with cost saving, creative solutions to save them trips to other stores. I am excited to be part of a fast growing company that focuses on customers’ needs first.
Jake ThompsonAssistant Manager
I started with Cash&Carry Smart Foodservice in July of 2018 and have over 10 years of restaurant management experience. I enjoy using my expertise running my own restaurant to help our customers find the perfect product for their needs. I am excited to build lasting relationships with our customers, so they can continue to grow their business.
Adam MurphyAssistant Manager
I started my career with Cash&Carry Smart Foodservice Warehouse Stores in 2013 at the Tacoma location as a sales associate eventually moving up to Perishable Specialist. Early in 2019 I joined the Olympia team as a member of the night crew, then was promoted to Assistant Manager. I previously worked for a national grocery chain and was in the Army Reserves for 3 years. I enjoy helping customers find what they need and working together to create new menu items.
Shayna CohenPerishable Specialist
I started with the Cash&Carry Smart Foodservice team in March of 2015 as a Sales Associate at our Olympia, WA. store. In December of 2015 I was promoted to Perishable Specialist. Before working for Smart Foodservice I worked in the Retail industry in various positions, for about the last 20 years. I have worked in many positions throughout that time and have learned a lot throughout the years. I like to keep a personal focus on cleanliness and customer service. I feel that these areas are my strong points and I like to bring that to every interaction I have with our customers.
John MeighanDistrict Manager
I joined the Cash&Carry Smart Foodservice team in 1995 at our store in Gresham, Oregon. I had the pleasure of helping customers as the Store Manager for 10 years in the greater Portland area before moving into the Smart Foodservice Corporate office in 2006. In the office I worked in the Perishable Department where I assisted the stores with all of their needs in meat, dairy, produce and frozen foods. As the Director of Perishables I was responsible for guiding our perishable program to best meet the needs of our customers. In 2017 I returned to my operational roots as a District Manager. I am looking forward to using my decades of Smart Foodservice experience to help support the stores, so we can provide you the best shopping experience on your next visit.
