Meet Our Team
I started my Cash&Carry Smart Foodservice career in 2002 as a sales associate at the NW Portland store. I had the pleasure of being on the opening team for the Tigard location. Shortly after opening Tigard store I was promoted to assistant manager. From there I have worked at most of the Portland area stores building lasting relationships. In 2011 I was promoted to store manager of the Aloha store. I enjoy helping our customers and watching their business succeed.
Gabino SolorioAssistant Manager
I joined Cash&Carry Smart Foodservice in July 2015 working on the freight crew and then moved to days. Prior to Smart Foodservice, I worked in customer service and retail sales for two different companies. Both of these positions taught me how to work with people and resolve problems. I am looking forward to using these skills to provide the best possible service and help build strong relationships with our business customers.

I started with Cash&Carry Smart Foodservice in 2010, before Cash&Carry I worked in Warehousing and Food Service positions. I enjoy using my experience and knowledge to help our customers to the best of my abilities. I try to provide the highest level of customer service at all times.
Dan OhAssistant Manager
I started with Cash&Carry Smart Foodservice in 2003 with the opening of our Tigard store as a Sales Associate until 2006 when I left to pursue other opportunities. During my tenure, I built lasting connections with local customers and experience with a strong management and associate team. I was welcomed back to the Tigard store at the beginning of August 2014 as an Assistant Manager, bringing with me the management experience gained from working in the production/manufacturing field.
Rik CarpenterPerishable Specialist
I joined Cash&Carry Smart Foodservice at our Northwest Portland store in 2015. In 2016 I transferred to our Aloha store as graveyard associate. I take pride in keeping our store organized and I strive to make our customer’s shopping experience a positive one. John MeighanDistrict Manager
I joined the Cash&Carry Smart Foodservice team in 1995 at our store in Gresham, Oregon. I had the pleasure of helping customers as the Store Manager for 10 years in the greater Portland area before moving into the Smart Foodservice Corporate office in 2006. In the office I worked in the Perishable Department where I assisted the stores with all of their needs in meat, dairy, produce and frozen foods. As the Director of Perishables I was responsible for guiding our perishable program to best meet the needs of our customers. In 2017 I returned to my operational roots as a District Manager. I am looking forward to using my decades of Smart Foodservice experience to help support the stores, so we can provide you the best shopping experience on your next visit.
